About the Owner
My name is Tamara and when I started stripping in the 80‘s I thought the teensy tiny custom bikini’s were way to expensive. Being the crafty entrepreneurial person I am, I taught myself how to sew, and found I was good at it. Living in Omaha, NE we were always (and still are) about 10 years behind the times. No stores sold custom bikini’s or stripper clothing locally. It was a great supplemental income for a person with the drive.
I moved to Texas in the 90‘s to get away from the cold. The Gentleman’s Clubs in Dallas, TX actually hired women to sit in the dressing room to maintain order (young girls, alcohol, drugs, money, etc.) My new job title was House Mom. I was setting myself up to be a Boutique Owner. While working the girls would bring me ideas and examples of the type of custom bikinis, and stripper clothes they would like to wear. The bar owners let me bring my sewing machines to work and cater to the girls. I moved back home like most people. Family is very important. Now I own three industrial sewing machines, Basic Tease Boutique and basictease.com in Omaha, NE. I have been sewing custom bikini’s, wraps, under garments, clubwear, and stripper clothes for over twenty years, and offer a great product. We manufacture a large percentage of the inventory on site.
