In 2004 I opened Basic Tease Boutique in West Omaha, NE. I just wanted to be an exotic clothing store. In the first couple of years I would continuously get people coming in the store asking for massage oil, games, whips, lube, vibrator, etc. I gave in and decided to start selling a small selection of these items in the West Omaha store. I am not sure why everyone just assumed we sold this type of inventory, but this is what the customers wanted.
My husband and I relocated Basic Tease to a larger store in 2009. The store is located in the historic Old Market. The new and improved store is almost 2000 square feet. The lower level we named the Amorous Room. Part of the lower level is where we manufacture our Basic Tease Originals, and offer Pole Dance parties/classes. The Amorous Room is about 700 square feet. We sell a large variety of adult novelties, fetish items, Kama Sutra, glass items, candles, bachelorette items, and much more. We do not sell porn. I am proud that we can offer what the public wants in an up scale atmosphere that caters to women.
